Stellar Beam Calcites (Elmwood Mine)

These Stellar Beam Calcites are from the Elmwood Mine in Tennessee which is world renowned for producing some of the world's top calcite minerals. The Elmwood Mine has a long history dating back to the 1970's. Currently the mine is operated by a Belgian company who is focused on mining only zinc from the Elmwood Mine. As such, the Elmwood Mine Calcites and Fluorites that were historically mined have become very expensive and any new material is said to be snuck out by current day workers.
